Overview:
Seeking an Assistant Property Manager with commercial real estate experience to support property operations, manage staff, and interact with tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all areas of property management under the Property Manager’s supervision.
- Communicate with tenants, vendors, and suppliers; handle correspondence and resolve requests.
- Attend monthly meetings with vendors (janitorial, security, landscaping, parking, engineering).
- Support day-to-day duties and special projects, including budget and CAPEX management.
- Review, code, approve invoices, and maintain contract and payment logs.
- Coordinate staff and vendors to complete maintenance issues and budgeted projects.
- Train and assign tasks to administrative staff; monitor service request systems and accounting programs.
- Prepare tenant statements, invoices, and credit memos.
- Schedule inspections and ensure property upkeep.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
- 2–5 years of experience in residential or commercial leasing.
- Active real estate license preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong math and accounting knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to assess tenant needs.
