POSITION SUMMARY
Network Operations Center Support Engineers oversee the monitoring of critical network elements, and engages in proactive system audits and maintenance, works regularly with others and must be able to effectively communicate and troubleshoot all issues that may arise. The role requires advanced systems engineering skills to diagnose and resolve infrastructure/end user related anomalies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 24 hour 2nd level support for all aspects of systems-based gaming products
- Assemble and configure server systems for new customers
- Assist remotely with new installations and upgrades
- Actively engage and work with team members to resolve open issues in the field
- Provide direct customer support when required
- Reproduce field issues in test and lab environment
- Describe technical issues verbally and in written format
- Assist in developing new documentation and maintaining existing documentation related to processes, procedures, and policies; Help to ensure existing documentation is current and followed; May be required to provide training for new and existing staff as new documentation and processes are introduced
- Help with the setup, testing and deployment of new technology solutions
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree in Network Operation & Security, Information Technology or Computer Science
- 2 Years related work experience
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Server, Network & Database Administration
- Procedural and technical writing
- Customer service oriented and have exceptional verbal communication skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming license as well as other licenses throughout the United States and Canada, as required.
