*Location is Negotiable- incumbent can reside anywhere within the Midwest Sales territory which includes Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, or Indiana*
Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting in the sales of the company's products throughout a defined geographical region, industry, or product line. To be part of the sales team and help with technical training for dealers, integrators, end-users, and our own sales staff. This position will require travel approximately 50% of the time.
Essential Functions:
- Achieves annual goals assigned by Sales Director including but not limited to regional sales quotas, new product sales, technical training, strategic account management.
- Create tech specs and integrated solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to understand applications and create solutions when needed.
- Achieve quarterly strategic goals objectives as described by Regional Directors of Sales.
- Travel when necessary to sales appointments with Regional Sales Reps for large projects approx. 50%
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend regular scheduled sales meetings with sales teams
- Attend trade shows as determined by Sales Director
- Work with Aiphone Corp. Technical Services team and report back findings in the field for knowledge base.
- Log activities in CRM and achieve strategic goals as assigned by Sales Directors.
- Conduct focus product certified training
- Perform Pre Programming and/or Remote programming services.
- Create project reports identifying potential issues with software/hardware solutions as they are discovered.
- Other duties as assigned.
Inter-Relationships:
- Works closely with Regional Sales teams, Aiphone Engineering teams, and Sales Support teams.
- Works closely with end-users, dealers, integrators, and their technical and IT teams.
Working Environment:
Requires working from a home office and travel approximately 50%, to specified regions and evens as required or directed by Sales Director.
Proficiencies:
- Must be self-motivated and well-organized and able to work within a team or independently
- Good analytical ability with a high knowledge base of Aiphone products and software.
- Must have an understanding of networks and Voip telephony systems as utilized by Aiphone equipment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a public speaking and educational focus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive project deadlines including strong time management skills.
Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Typically requires an associate's degree or equivalent and knowledge of, and/or experience in the sales of product within the industry, or product segment.
- Require at a minimum of 2 years outside sales experience in a technical field
- Experience with IT netowrks, software driven solutions, and large project based activities
- Has or working toward Network certificate.
