The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or based on business needs Monday-Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Set up, operate, and monitor product trans-fill systems to fill cylinders or bulk containers by pressure, temperature and/or weight to meet stringent customer requirements. Products are high and ultra high purity and include inert and hazardous gases and gas mixtures.
- As required, set up, operate, and monitor product purification systems for flammable, corrosive & toxic gases or gas mixtures and then fill cylinders or bulk containers to meet stringent customer requirements.
- As required, accurately perform the necessary calculations for weight and pressure additions for gas mixtures.
- Select the proper packaging for a given product or order and ensure containers meet or exceed all regulatory, company and customer requirements.
- Monitor asset and raw material inventories to ensure customer orders can be fulfilled. Escalate issues accordingly.
- Maintain adequate raw material inventory levels and report month end quantities accurately.
- Manage customer orders to ensure they are filled in a timely manner and ship on time.
- Perform minor inspections and preventive or corrective maintenance on equipment and understand when to initiate proper escalation of equipment issues.
- Maintain general work area as per 5S methodology.
- Understand and comply with all applicable HS&E Standards and regulations including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Respiratory, PSM/RMP, etc.
- Daily inspection and operation of a forklift, jack pallet truck and other cylinder movement type equipment.
- Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures for all safety and quality issues per on-site policies.
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of applicable site-specific procedures and protocols.
- Accountable for the safety of all persons and the general public surrounding facility. Safety is a condition of continued employment.
- As applicable, train Cylinder Fill Tech Level I employees
- Satisfactorily complete Cylinder Fill Tech Level II local OJT minimum requirements within 6 months in job grade.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good mechanical skills and aptitude
- Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
- 3 years experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/mechanical rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry is preferred.
- Full range of motion and ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment
- Self motivated to learn
- Willingness to work on different shifts as required
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to give instructions clearly
- Ability to understand, abide by and enforce stringent safety rules
