Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing essential support functions to the sales department including administrative support, reporting, and other vital functions to enhance daily operations of the AFA sales team. The Sales Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for customer service, facilitator of activities, and troubleshooter.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (90%)
Prepares all necessary communication tools for the sales team including, but not limited to, sales collateral, marketing materials, letters, email correspondence, reports, timelines, proposals, presentations etc.
Data analysis and entry up to and including CRM software
Providing customer service / answering client questions regarding AFA events, Media, or Sponsorship activities
Maintaining monthly metrics and data reports as per client request
Administrative tasks to include research, website updates, survey creation and dissemination etc.
Provides research assistance in identifying trends and seeking out appropriate corporate contacts
Drafting insertion orders and contracts
Proofreading invoices
Provide additional logistical and administrative support to the Program Manager which may include AFA produced events
Other Duties as Assigned 10%
Cross training with the Program Manager
Requirements
Education and Experience Required :
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, related field or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
2 years of Coordinator Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with or able to learn additional business software
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and ethical practices
Ability to problem-solve and develop short and long-term solutions

Ability to be creative and assist in production of complex company produced events
Project management skills
Knowledgeable about digital advertising and marketing including creating newsletters, website, and social media preferred
