Job Description
We are looking for a full time mechanical inspector to work in the aerospace industry. Applicant would be responsible for receiving, in-process, and final inspections. Ideally the applicant would have experience with the following:
- Proficient with the following inspection tools: calipers, height gauge, scale, tape measure, protractor, thread gauge, radius gauge, etc.
- Ability to interpret technical data
- General Quality Assurance / Control Experience
- Computer proficient
- Experience with AS9100 & AS9102 (preferred)
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (preferred)
- Jobboss experience (preferred)
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Employer does background check / drug screening
Job Type: Full-time (8AM - 4:30PM)
Daily Responsibilities:
- Measure parts using inspection equipment to confirm configuration
- Check end formations such as flare, double flare, swage, pre-set, square
- Fill out AS9102 Form 3 – Inspection Report
- Perform First Article Inspections
- Write purchase orders for outside processing
- Review operations sheets for compliance with customer drawings
- Perform hardness and conductivity tests
Job Type: Full-time
