Ongoing OEM training.Many opportunities for growth and advancement.Mechanic responsibilities will include : Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems.
Overhaul and repair heavy duty engines, clutches, transmissions, differentials, and power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, or any other system used on medium and heavy-duty trucks.
Install engines, transmissions, and other components.Perform preventative maintenance.Submit complete technical reports and documentation as required by manufacturers in all components on all makes of trucks and trailers.
Operate transportation equipment to demonstrate function or malfunction.Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
Rewire electrical or electronic systems.Align equipment or machinery.Repair non-engine automotive or vehicle components.Install vehicle parts or accessories.
Troubleshoot equipment or systems operation problems.Complies with safety and EPA regulations as well as internal controls.
Completes all work orders in a timely manner, ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate work order line and comments are entered;
understands reason and task codes and signs and checks parts order form.Tags all warranty parts with appropriate information.
