What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Veterinary Technician position at Airport West Animal Clinic?
Airport West Animal Clinic in Yakima, WA is looking for licensed technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player, punctual, and works well in a fast paced environment. Our clinic is very busy and our doctors work quickly. We are looking for a full time employee (approximately 25-40 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients
- Cashier (if needed)
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Assisting doctors with appointments
- Animal boarding/husbandry duties
- Restraint of animals (cats, dogs, exotics)
- Obtaining vitals
- Maintaining medical records
- Invoicing
- Cleaning surgical instruments, packs, gowns
- Maintenance of equipment
- End of day closing duties
- Other technician duties
**Wage will be dependent on experience/qualifications
