Job Description:
The role of the CAD Designer is high impact, with responsibility from concept through to production,

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
As a CAD Designer at Airstream, you will design and draft using AutoCad Inventor, creating robust
3D data along with the part, assembly, and install drawings. Having a strong personal drive, sense
of accountability and ability to creative problem solve will create both short-term and long-term
success for you at Airstream.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and input to the Engineering Design Team for the development and
testing of chassis, body, interior cabinetry, fixtures, appliances, and related mechanical systems
& components for new and existing vehicles.
- Participate in the creation of solid models, drawings and management of data according to
accepted design practices using CAD design software.
- Aid in the manufacturing implementation of vehicle and component designs including the
training and auditing of Production Associates and development of installation aids as needed.
- Assist with the creation and evaluation of working mockups & prototypes as needed to confirm
and improve design maturity.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD Inventor
- Knowledge of Vault data management
- Experience with Solidworks or surface modeling software
- Engineering-related degree required, along with DFA, DFM, DFX experience. RV industry
background is a plus.
- Project Management skills are critical, including the ability to create and drive to a schedule
and assess and offset technical risks
- A strong work ethic with a focus on results is required and practical experience in a hands-on
environment is a plus
Salary : $48,500 - $61,400
