Quality Inspector
I. Incoming Inspection (IQC)
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on standard equipment, prototypes, small batches, and non-standard equipment materials according to the "General Incoming Inspection Regulations" and specific material inspection procedures and technical requirements, and record the results.
- Conduct sample identification work for various materials according to relevant technical documents and test requirements.
- Identify and control non-conforming products when quality issues are discovered, promptly notify the responsible SQE engineer for the material, assist in handling non-conforming products, and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.
- Collect, record, and analyze quality data of inspected materials, and promote the development and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Track and verify the implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and provide statistics.
- Summarize, communicate, and handle information on defective parts in inventory, market, field, and incoming materials related to suppliers, as assigned by superiors.
- Comply with the company's safety, health, and environmental management systems, identify hazards in functional blocks, and identify environmental factors.
II. Process Inspection (PQC) and Outgoing Inspection (OQC)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sampling, in-process inspections, and final inspections of products (including prototypes) at various production stages according to the process control inspection regulations and record the results. Promptly identify and prevent defective products from flowing into the next process.
- Perform quality inspections of processes and ensure compliance with relevant technical and process documents, effectively promote self-checking by employees.
- Propose corrective and preventive measures for existing or potential quality issues based on product inspection standards, urge teams to take timely corrective actions, and track and verify the implementation of these measures.
- Conduct sampling inspections of finished products, supervise the regular maintenance, spot checks of manufacturing equipment, and calibration of measuring instruments.
- Track and verify the implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and provide statistics.
- Identify and control non-conforming products when quality issues are discovered, promptly notify the responsible production line supervisor or manager as well as the relevant quality engineer for handling and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
- Collect, record, and analyze quality data of the assigned area's production processes, and promote the development and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Handle other matters related to process quality control and outgoing quality control as assigned by superiors.
- Comply with the company's safety, health, and environmental management systems, identify hazards in functional blocks, and identify environmental factors.
III. Quantitative Inspection
Responsibilities:
- Develop and supervise the implementation of operational management systems for measuring instruments.
- Develop periodic calibration plans for company measuring instruments, conduct periodic inspections, spot checks, and calibrations, and maintain proper records.
- Handle external calibration and verification of measuring instruments and maintain the instrument inventory, ensuring proper classification and filing.
- Manage the purchase, receiving inspection, and scrapping of measuring instruments.
- Coordinate with third-party calibration and verification organizations, budget and implement measurement costs.
- Inspect the usage status of all in-use measuring instruments in the factory, replace faulty instruments in a timely manner, and perform maintenance on general measuring instruments to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
- Perform internal calibration on company's self-calibrating equipment and develop calibration operating procedures.
- Conduct internal and external audits related to metrology management, including internal audits, customer audits, and product certifications (3C, energy-saving certification, production license, UL, etc.).
- Develop technical standards, technical management systems, and operating procedures for company measuring instruments and supervise their implementation.
- Comply with the company's safety, health, and environmental management systems, identify hazards in the department, and identify environmental factors.
Qualifications: Education: Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, proficient in using the seven basic quality control tools (QC tools). Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical processing and inspection work, with at least 2 years of experience in metrology management. Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiar with mechanical drawing, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, familiar with ISO 9001:2000 requirements, and knowledge of metrology management and metrology technical expertise.
- Understanding of refrigeration components, machining structure, and principles, with at least 2 years of experience in the refrigeration industry, preferred skills in conducting 5M1E audits on-site.
- Proficient in the knowledge and application of measuring instruments such as pressure gauges, ammeters, thermometers, etc. Holds intermediate-level vocational qualifications in length measurement, thermodynamic measurement, and weighing instrument measurement, as well as a metrology certificate.
- Diligent, responsible, with good communication and coordination skills, proficient in using Office software, and good oral and written expression skills.
