Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Valuation Analyst located in Wilmington, DE, with flexibility for some remote days. The Business Valuation Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, business valuations, financial modeling, and providing insights to enhance clients' financial decisions. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating financial data, performing valuation analyses, and preparing detailed reports to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related or other quantitative field
• Analytical Skills, Financial Modeling, and Finance skills
• Experience in Business Valuation and Valuation techniques is a plus
• Strong understanding of financial principles and valuation methods
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis abilities
• Professional certification (CFA, CVA, etc.) or progress towards designation is a plus
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in excel and advanced excel functions
• Experience preparing or working with financial statements and/or business tax returns is a plus
