ABA Behavior Technician Overview :

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, this role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to individuals ages 2-22 who have been diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and / or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school / other work location. 1-2 Clients are assigned to a therapist based on their experience to give consistent opportunities to build a strong relationship to help achieve the most therapeutic outcomes.

Applicants who enjoy and excel in this role may have worked as a : Paraprofessional, Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Teacher's Aide, Instructional Aide, Daycare Assistant, Childcare worker, Rehabilitative Assistant, Educational Associate, Educational Assistant, Nanny, Tutor, Home Care Aid, Mental Health Therapist, PCA, HHA, CNA, Home Health Worker, Medical Assistant, Psychologist, SLPA, OTA, and Social Worker.

  • Must have Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work 2- 3 weekday afternoons to evenings (ie. 3-7 : 00PM)
  • Some Saturday availability is preferred but not required.
  • Looking to work 10 Hours per week (Part Time)
  • ABA Behavior Technician Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Working with families for effective collaboration
  • Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Electronic Data collection
  • Implementing individualized behavior support plans
  • Implementing skill acquisition programs
  • ABA Behavior Technician Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs
  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to attend an initial orientation
  • Timely and organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
