What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sushi Chef/ Roller position at Akai Hana Japanese Sushi Restaurant?
Akai Hana is a Japanese Sushi Restaurant located in Carrboro. We are a high volume restaurant and function in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of urgency, positive attitude, and willingness to get along with others.
Job Description
-Responsible for assisting in prep work & preparing sushi orders
-Must be friendly & accommodating toward customers
-Positive attitude and ability to work well with other staff
-Must memorize menu items & be able to multi-task
-Must be willing to learn and have a positive attitude
-Basic knife skills
We do receive a high volume of candidates.
Sushi Chef experience is preferred.
