Talent Acquisition Specialist
Reports to the Vice President of Human Resources
Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for working with business leaders to develop and execute effective talent acquisition and retention strategies that enable the successful achievement of our business goals. The role is responsible for defining the knowledge, skills, experience, and behavioral requirements for positions, and for sourcing top talent for current and future staffing needs.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Full cycle candidate management from initial sourcing, screening and interviewing through hiring, background checks and on-boarding
- Heavy cold-calling (Average of 100 calls per week)
- Review and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates, match applicants with job requirements based on candidate skill-set
- Interview applicants to evaluate work history, education, training and job skills
- Communicate job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules, work environment and other organizational information to candidates
- Liaison between candidates and hiring managers
- Coordinate interview schedules
- Prepare offer letters and initiate background check report processing
- Extend offers of employment and ensure completion of new hire paperwork
- Communicate with applicants on an as-needed basis during the interview and hiring process
- Stay engaged with the applicant pool by fostering good relationships and building strong partnerships
- Work on HR projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, PHR or SPHR desirable
- At least 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience
- Experience in sourcing techniques, such as Cold calling, web, research, and networking
- Proficiency with LinkedIn and other social media to source candidates and manage an online recruiting presence
- Detail-oriented and able to shift priorities as needed for the business
- Independent, motivated, highly organized with a strategic approach to recruitment
- Applicant Tracking System experience a plus
- Real Estate Industry recruitment experience a plus
