What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Representative position at Akia?

While we are currently servicing the hospitality industry, we are building our core technology to enhance communication for every business.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a critical role in building out our Sales organization to drive revenue, and you’ll be the voice of the Akia brand to our potential customers. You will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new customers and managing outbound sales opportunities.

What you’ll be doing
- Maintain a high volume of outbound activity
- Identify, generate, and qualify sales opportunities for Akia
- Book highly qualified meetings for the AE Team
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Focus on personal skills development
- Research and learn to become an expert in the industry and the target companies.
- Continually exceed sales KPI and quota.
- Articulate and demonstrate our business value proposition across different mediums
What you should have
- Excited to Work Full-Time in person(San Francisco) with a strong team
- 0-2 years of professional work experience in sales, business development
- Strong work ethic
