Maintenance Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of application equipment. This position involves both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and it requires a strong technical skill set, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety. The role will include traveling to mine sites and interfacing with customers. The position is full time with overtime potential. Mining experience is a plus but not required. Work locations required will be from Decker, MT to south of Wright, WY.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on various machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks.
2. Repairs and Troubleshooting:
• Respond to maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Identify the root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
3. Safety Compliance:
• Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the Maintenance Manager.
4. Record Keeping:
• Complete and share service reports with the AKJ team and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
• Assist in updating and managing maintenance schedules and documentation.
