Occupational Therapy Assistant

AKL Therapy is currently recruiting (COTA) Occupational Therapist Assistant to take over cases of children in the** * Longwood * normally in the afternoons***. We are looking for independent contractors therapists who want to manage their own schedules and make extra money.

This job offer is for home health daycare where the therapist will go to the children's home/location and proceed with therapy in their home environment. We provide Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services to the pediatric population of Orlando and the Miami-Dade area. Occupational Therapy Assistant position:

Qualifications:

· Proof of education in OTA.

· Fulfilled state-required examinations.

· Compliant with continuing education, if required by the state as a condition of maintaining licensure.

· Experience working with the pediatric community.

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· Strong knowledge of therapy principles, theory, methods, and evidence-based practice

· Comply with accepted professional, ethical and legal standards of practice.

· Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, and staff.

· Treat clients, families, and staff with courtesy and respect.

· Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.

· Clean background check.
