Job Purpose
Our Maintenance Technicians (2nd shift) will be responsible for physical and mechanical condition of buildings, utility systems and facility equipment. We are looking for talent with specialized training/certification/license in two or more maintenance disciplines such as
electrical, electronics, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing/pipe fitting, carpentry, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps and welding or any other specialized training. You will also utilize knowledgeable of appropriate construction codes and provides technical guidance to lower skilled employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance support for CAPEX and improvement projects through design, installation and start-up.
- Diagnose equipment problem, determine repair needs, tear down, repair/replace defective parts and reassemble equipment.
- Find and fix programming errors in pneumatic logic / systems.
- Develop and deploy new fabrication of equipment as needed – act as the resident “maker” expert.
- Perform preventive and active maintenance on all facets of buildings and equipment to allow safe and proper operation of facility.
- Monitor and assist outside workers allowing safe and effective completion of jobs required.
- Skilled fittings of parts and components to close tolerances, requiring precise alignment and adjustment.
- Ensure that all vendors, contractors and visitors brought on site comply with appropriate HSE, Security policies and rules
- Full range of precision measuring instruments and gauges
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required and 3 years of maintenance experience.
