Pay Range : $50,253.60 - $84,280.80
Location : Various locations across the state.
The ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division is currently seeking applicants for Corrections Investigative Agents. These positions are located throughout the state and provide a competitive salary range for qualified applicants.
The Corrections Investigative Agent is a full-time position within the Law Enforcement Services Division of the Alabama Department of Corrections.
This position consists of responsible investigative work of a confidential nature concerning incidents in state correctional jurisdiction.
These employees will conduct investigations of a variety of conditions relating to inmate and employee conduct, care and security practices of institutional management having unlawful or criminal implications.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Law, Public / Business Administrations, Psychology, Forensic Sciences, Homeland Security or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience conducting criminal investigations.
- Current, active certification by APOSTC or equivalent law enforcement agency.
