The Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS), a public residential high school serving talented Alabama students, seeks an experienced full-time Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining campus facilities and equipment, incorporating preventive maintenance into the regular work schedule. Minimum
Qualifications: High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in facilities maintenance. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance procedures. Must enjoy being part of a team. Preferred: 5 years of experience. Knowledge of building and equipment codes, HVAC diploma/certificate, knowledge of the cleaning supplies and techniques necessary to maintain the facilities, experience with preventive maintenance and preventive maintenance scheduling, and experience working with adolescents. Clear background check and clean driving record.
