Job Description:
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support our government customer located in O'ahu, Hawai'i. The successful candidate will be responsible for research, quoting, and purchasing materials and equipment, maintaining top vendors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a software and hardware database containing critical information about all 30th Signal Battalion NEC assets.
- Request Purchase Orders for approved Purchase Authorization Forms.
- Research and quote materials and equipment.
- Maintain top vendors for each line item.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School diploma and three (3) years of experience performing purchasing and procurement duties.
- OSHA 30 certified.
- Three (3) years of experience performing property accountability, inventory, and property tracking duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint, GCSS-ARMY, and ServiceNow.
- Extreme familiarity with DoD operations.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a Government and/or IT environment preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Salary : $64,000 - $82,000
