Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruitment, Advising, Mentoring
-Provide one-on-one academic advising to international law students and alumni to help ensure they make steady academic progress.
-Assist applicants and students in understanding the structure and requirements of College degree and professional programs.
-Provide ongoing advising support for students with increased availability at critical and high-volume advising times such as mid-semester deadlines, priority course registration periods, and other designated times throughout the academic year.
-Foster relationships with faculty and other College and University resources.
-Oversee and facilitate programming sponsored by the Graduate and International Office.
-Connect current students to alumni mentors appropriate for the student’s preferred practice areas/setting/market.
-Assist in recruiting domestic and international students via 1:1 outreach, by attending recruitment fairs in other countries, and through similar initiatives.
-Participate in the management of partnership agreements with other institutions.
-Assist with advertising campaigns and develop marketing tools. - Teaching
-Teach two sections of Law 500 (or the equivalent) per academic year
-Provide educational programming throughout the year - Administrative Responsibilities
-Support functions of graduate and international office
-Participate in the Office’s strategic planning efforts.
-Other related duties as assigned
