- Alarm Tech Sprinkler – Fire sprinkler installation, testing & inspections
We are expanding and seeking an experienced fire sprinkler professional to lead field operations on the Sprinkler Team.
Job Summary
The Sprinkler Foreman/Sprinkler Fitter will be responsible for leading installation crews, coordinating with contractors and customers, and ensuring successful and safe completion of fire sprinkler projects. This position requires strong technical knowledge, jobsite communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Install, repair, and service fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, and pre-action systems
- Lead installation crews to ensure efficiency and quality work
- Cut, thread, groove, and install a variety of piping materials
- Interpret and apply design plans, blueprints, and NFPA code requirements
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors to maintain project timelines
- Troubleshoot system issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments onsite
- Inspect and test systems including backflow preventers and fire pumps
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress to project managers
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a safe work environment
- Serve as the professional representative of Alarm Tech while onsite
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years of fire sprinkler installation and service experience required
- Supervisory/crew lead experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA standards, local building codes, and industry best practices
- Experience with pressure testing, system commissioning, and inspection support
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficient use of power tools, lifts, and trade equipment
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs or more as needed
- Work from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and in various indoor/outdoor conditions
- Able to stand, bend, or work overhead for extended periods
