JOB TITLE: Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Specialist

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Specialist is responsible for interpreting/reporting ECG abnormalities to RN/physicians and assisting on placing cardiac monitors to patient.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Educates patients on use of Holter Monitor, Cardiac Event Monitor and Sleep Monitor
- Process, analyze and interprets rhythms and arrhythmias for clinical accuracy and completeness
- Administrative duties such as maintaining monitor records, inventory and assisting with our outlining clinics (Matsu/Soldotna offices).
- Troubleshoots any monitor problems, identify probable causes, seek solutions to correct the problem and answers patients’ questions, as needed
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
PAY RANGE: (dependent upon experience and education)

Education: Minimum: Telemetry Certification or ability to obtain certification
Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in Cardiac Telemetry monitoring or EKG, technical training or education in EKG monitoring
Certificate/License: CRAT/CCT Certification, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
