What are the responsibilities and job description for the Booth Sales Representative position at Alaska Travel Adventures?
Work closely with the operations team selling excursions pier side to prospective guests as they disembark from their ships. Sales experience preferred.
As a Booth Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting in daily dock operations, inventory management, and transportation coordination. Professional verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are required. Be prepared to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing tour inventory and monitoring availability
- Timely completion of financial processes, invoicing and tour reconciliation paperwork
- Greeting prospective guests as they disembark
- Giving clear explanation of tour options and local knowledge (duration, highlights, timing, etc)
- Accurately handle payments, cancellations, and rebookings
- Maintain a clean, professional, and inviting booth presence
- Understanding and compliance with company safety & operational policies
