PE Teacher, 1.0 FTE, Temporary

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Principal, instruct courses in Physical Education to middle school pupils utilizing the state content standards and course of study adopted by the school district. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES– E=Essential Duties Provides individual or small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students and accommodates circumstances where a variety of skills are being worked on simultaneously E; Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior for a productive learning environment during class sessions, and field trips E; Communicates with parents and school counselors on pupil progress E; Participates in faculty committees and sponsorship of student activities E; Other responsibilities as detailed in the Albany Teacher Job Description E; Other duties as assigned E; Models correct body mechanics for activities   Requirements:

1. Ability to work cooperatively
2. Current Valid California Driver’s License
3. Current California Single Subject Physical Education Credential
4. EL authorization
5. Health Science credential desired

Salary : $61,136 - $105,363
