What You Will Be Doing
To work closely with Maintenance Managers and Supervisors to prevent/solve bigger operational issues and to ensure that defined maintenance KPIs are being met. It is a high-level oversight of daily expectations providing support, guidance, and requirements. The focus will be standardization, compliance, performance, and best practices.
The position will be based in Boise, ID.
Main Responsibilities
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Provide oversight of the maintenance management software. This would include but is not limited to the following: monitor and manage performance, standardization, asset inventory, warranty, and training. Produce reports for asset retirement, performance, warranty, inventory, and compliance.
Maintenance Health Audits
Conduct annual audits to ensure the overall health of the maintenance departments. This would include but is not limited to the following: live audits of each location, review supporting documentation, record recommendations / requirements, provide results with year-over-year performance to DC Management and Corporate Director of Facilities Engineering.
Safety
Provide oversight of all maintenance safety programs. This would include but is not limited to the following: process safety management, lockout / tagout, Arc flash, confined space, fall protection, electrical, hot work, ammonia refrigeration operator's licenses, certifications, and health evaluations.
Compliance
Provide oversight of all regulatory compliance program. This would include but is not limited to the following: PSM (process safety management, SPCC (spill prevention control and countermeasure) plan, SWPP (stormwater pollution prevention) plan, LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Commission) and elevators.
Energy Management
Partner with the Corporate and Local Energy Teams for regular review and recommendations. Work with the Corporate Director of Facilities Engineering for Implementation.
Employee Development
Responsible for the development and maintaining a succession plan for Maintenance Management. Provide oversight for all maintenance employee training to ensure continued growth.
Operating Budget
Ensure the Maintenance Mangers are meeting expectations of the operating budget through reviews, guidance and participating in quarterly P&L meetings.
Review & Implement Action Plans
Work with the Corporate Director of Facilities Engineering to develop, review and implement action plans. This would include but is not limited to the following: safety, compliance, performance, budget, and energy management.
Secondary Job Functions (These are considered occasional in nature):
- Assist in the creation, review and modification of existing workflow procedures and task
- Other duties assigned by management
What We Are Searching For
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years' experience in a maintenance management or manufacturing management role
- Possess a skilled labor aptitude to understand the mechanical, electrical, piping, and structural equipment that make up the equipment fixtures, rolling stock and automation devises and support systems on the Melrose Park Complex
- Possess a strong overall knowledge of anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems, Process Safety Management (PSM / OSHA) compliance, Risk Management Plan (RMP / EPA) compliance and the efficient operation of the (2) NH3 refrigeration systems on site
- Must have working knowledge of (National Fire Protection) NFPA 20, NFPA 13, and NFPA E-70 (Shock Hazard and Arc Flash)
- Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Deal effectively with a wide variety of people both in person and over the telephone while representing the Company's interests in negotiations with outside professionals and consultants
- Strong Computer skills required. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) Computerized maintenance Management Systems (CMMS -- Maximo / DataStream, etc.)
- A proven track record of good judgment and the ability to achieve results with minimum supervision.
- Required to have the analytical ability to handle administrative duties, mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe, and thorough completion of work activities
- Work is performed under both typical office and warehouse conditions. Some work is performed under general office conditions in a temperature controlled environment
- The position requires the person to sit for long times of time at a desk or computer terminal
- Potential hazards may exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movements of trucks and trailers, etc.
- Work environment is fast paced
