Albertus Magnus High School, located in Rockland County, NY is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Advancement/Development team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Start date: July 1, 2024

Duties:
- Assist with event planning and coordination

- Manage constituent database
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Assist with order entry and processing
- Assist with maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
- Provide administrative support to staff members as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role within a development/advancement office

- Experience working in a non-profit, preferably in a school setting
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Experience with Fund raising and event planning

- Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar Development Office Database is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
