We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As an Operator I, supporting our distribution center, you will be trusted with Pick, and stock items. Pick replenishments and deliver to the distribution areas by using a cherry picker forklift. Drives a forklift truck, cherry picker and/or motorized pallet jack equipped with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties at Johns Creek Distribution, In Johns Creek, GA.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Pick, stock, pack in an accurate, safe, productive, and professional manner including the following: RF Cluster Picking, RF A-Frame/V-Frame Replenishment, OSR Replenishment, RF Cart Build, RF Audit Counting and RF Put Away.
- Ensure inventory integrity in the pick locations through cycle count process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
- Unload and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventories materials on work floor.
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
- Daily expected/metrics must be met.
- Good communication skills.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work Hours: 2nd Shift 3:00PM – 11:30PM EST (Monday-Friday)
- Location: Onsite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Familiar with RF scanners used in the order picking process
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
- Computer literate
- Good mathematical skills
- Experience with operating order pickers
- SAP experience
