NOW HIRING – LPNs
Must be licensed and unencumbered in NC or a Compact State
Responsible for providing direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provides for routine care to include the following: nutrition, toileting, vital signs, hygiene, turning and assisting activities, medications (oral and IM), treatments, weights, safety factors, suctioning and respiratory aids. Performs more complex tasks to include catheterizations (male and female), sterile dressings and treatments, venipuncture and colostomy irrigations. Assists the RN in observing and assessing the patient’s total condition, reports changes to the RN and if directed, to the physician. Assists in the processing of physician’s orders. Participates in implementing patient care plan under the supervision of a registered nurse. Documents appropriate patient related information on temporary problems and periodic assessments. Performs other charting/record-keeping activities. May provide direction to the unlicensed personnel regarding patient care assignments, housekeeping duties, etc.
