Engineering Cost Account Manager - Space Force

Target Pay Rate: $73 / hour

Workplace Options:
This position is either on-site or hybrid (3-4 days onsite and 1-2 off site)
While on-site, you will be a part of the Scottsdale, AZ location


ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Cost Account Manager on the Space Force MUOS (Mobile User Objective System - U.S. military satellite communications) program, you'll work closely with a cross functional team responsible for successful execution of one of the multiple MUOS teams.

CAM Specific skillsets

    • Assist in the successful execution and delivery of Task Order within cost and schedule parameters from CGN, as well as Sales and Margin expectations to organization
    • Assist in the support the successful execution of Task Order (EVM Contract) as a CAM
    • Support generating briefing reports (internal/external)
    • Work closely with Program Finance, Program Management and Deputy Program Manager of Engineering to establish clear financial expectations when developing the Fiscal Plan.
    • Support development of the resource-loaded Control Account schedule
    • Support establishment of Control Account Plans (CAPs)
    • Request Open/Close charge #'s
    • Review weekly labor reports for charging; reviews subcontractor data, including est. costs
    • Support development of Baseline Change Requests (BCRs)
    • Develop and manage performance measurement metrics
    • Work with the Deputy Program Manager of Engineering and Engineering to status the schedule and develop estimate to complete (ETC)
    • Support reviews with program team including Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR)
    • Perform Control Account analysis, including rate impacts
    • Support Engineering Status Reviews and Program Management Reviews
    • Support Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) preparation (if applicable)

Excel and Power BI skill sets

    • Proficiency with Advanced Excel Formulas: including INDEX/MATCH, COUNTIFS, macros for automating tasks, use of pivot tables
    • Proficiency with Data Transformation and Power Queries in Excel and Power BI
    • Proficiency with Data Visualization tools in Excel and Power BI: Charts, graphs

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Advanced Excel Formulas: including INDEX/MATCH, COUNTIFS, macros for automating tasks, use of pivot tables
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Data Transformation and Power Queries in Excel and Power BI
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Data Visualization tools in Excel and Power BI: Charts, graphs
