OR 2:30pm to 2:30am Thursday 4:30pm to 10:30pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
- Safety
- Identify and address safety concerns
- Material Handling
- Operate Forklift, Crane, Yard Truck, Trailers, and Basket Jig safely
- Inspect equipment and report if repairs are needed.
- Stock product and process electronic transfers
- Monitor manufacturing orders for due dates and customer packing and shipping instructions.
- Monitor and complete Material Handler requests
- Wrap, band and label finished material for shipment
- Operate Forklift, Crane, Yard Truck, Trailers, and Basket Jig safely
- Material Support
- Pack Parts to packing specifications
- Maintain quality standards
- Wrap, band and label finished material for shipment
- Inventory
- Complete electronic inventory transactions.
- Perform cycle counts
- Research and resolve inventory inaccuracies
- Receiving
- Receive and inspect inbound material for compliance with AI standards.
- Process inbound parcels and deliver to location
- Shipping
- Load outside carriers
- Validate and complete shipping documents
- Process parcel boxes for shipment
- Contribute to department’s Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Quality initiatives by submitting ideas and participating in project implementations.
OTHER JOB DUTIES: (Not considered essential to the job)
- Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- Experience:
- 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- 2 Years of material handling, shipping, and receiving experience
- Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to recognize safety concerns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong coordination and judgment skills
- Intermediate math skills
- Basic blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to take part in continuous education and training.
- Ability to operate a forklift and Semi-Tractor safely and effectively
