Dust off your customer service skills; the AYCC is looking for Welcome Center Representatives! Our Welcome Center is responsible for greeting members, assisting with registrations, and managing memberships. We are rapidly growing with over 10,000 members and our Welcome Center is a big part of that growth. BENEFITS: This position is eligible for paid time off, a free AYCC Family Membership, the possibility of FREE or discounted childcare, and a 403(b) retirement plan if you work 20 or more hours per week. If you work full time status, 30 or more hours per week, you would also receive health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short term and long term disability, and paid holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet the public, answer the telephone, and provide accurate program information in a positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful manner.
- Process visitor transactions, membership registrations & renewals. Verify active membership upon member’s arrival. Monitor member facility access.
- Provide facility tours to prospective members, donors, and other guests.
- Control the vestibule and lobby areas by providing assistance to patrons and directing children as needed.
- Monitor the cameras for any unusual behaviors or activities. Assist and direct members in emergency situations.
- Process payments, make change and write/print receipts accurately.
- Reconcile cash, checks, and credit card swipes to sales reports at the end of each shift.
- Maintain current facility schedules and registration information (pools, classes, Adventure Playland) at Welcome Center.
- File paperwork and perform data entry as needed.
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1-2 years related experience in Customer Service.
- Knowledge of computer and data systems and reporting; Proficient in MS Office Suite and computer software programs.

WORK SCEHDULE: Daytime, evening, and weekend work hours. Schedules will vary. Differential pay available for weekend hours.
PAY RATE: $14.50-$16.31 per hour
