Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- M.S. in Chemistry or a closely related field required; Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, with evidence such as innovative instructional methods, student engagement, or teaching awards.
- Diverse background highly valued, especially practical experience in analytical, instrumentation, or organic chemistry.
- Experience in curriculum development, student advisement, or previous college-level teaching is a plus.
- Teach both lower-level and upper-level chemistry lectures and labs at the associate and baccalaureate levels.
- Deliver courses in areas of expertise, such as analytical, instrumental, or organic chemistry.
- Mentor and guide students in research projects and independent study.
- Participate in student advisement, recruitment, curriculum and course development, and provide service to the college and department.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to departmental and institutional initiatives.
