Construction Cad Designer

We're hiring a creative, full-time CAD designer to bring clients’ architectural dreams to life! You'll serve as the primary architectural drafter for our company, utilizing design software to produce 2D and 3D designs. Communication is vital for this position as you'll work directly with clients and incorporate their feedback into your designs. $18 - $30 hourly

• Work with construction team members to establish a timeline and budget for the design
• Meet with clients during the beginning of the project to get project specifications and scope
• Run stress tests and simulations on all solid modeling designs before prototyping
• Receive feedback from construction team members and clients and revise designs accordingly
• Utilize computer software to generate 2D and/or 3D designs, depending on the project specifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent experience in architecture, design, construction engineering, or related field is desired
• Stellar attention to detail, teamwork abilities, communication skills, and organizational skills
• Proficient in using architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk BIM, Solidworks, 3DS Max, Chief Architect Premier: Construction Drawings, SketchUp, and Lumion
• At least 2 years of experience in architectural design
• Possess a firm grasp on the industry as a whole and stay up-to-date on evolving trends in architectural technologies

• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting and detailing experience
