We’re looking for a motivated and service-focused Cloud Onboarding Engineer to join our Managed Services Team. In this role, you’ll help new clients get started on our Azure Managed Cloud Platform, acting as a key point of contact during onboarding. You’ll work closely with internal technical teams, support users (especially VIPs), and ensure a smooth and positive start for each client relationship. Success in this role requires strong client-centric communication, proactive problem solving, and the ability to manage details across multiple teams and timelines. Hybrid role requiring in-office presence twice per week. Participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including overnights and weekends. Full-time position offering full benefits, a salary in the $60K to $75K range, and paid training. Key Responsibilities include serving as a primary point of contact for onboarding new Managed Services clients to the Azure Managed Cloud Platform, providing “White Glove” technical support to VIP users and new clients during onboarding, coordinating onboarding deliverables and timelines between internal technical teams and client stakeholders, supporting clients’ end users with workstation setup, distributed systems, Office 365/Microsoft 365, Azure, and network-related issues, partnering with the IT Service Desk (ITSD) to escalate and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring a seamless transition from onboarding to long-term support by the Managed Services team, contributing to special projects focused on automation, reporting, and continuous improvement, taking a consultative and client-focused approach to support and service delivery, collaborating across teams with strong team coordination and a spirit of shared ownership, demonstrating attention to detail, documentation discipline, and consistent professionalism in all communications, and maintaining an adaptable mindset with a desire to grow within IT, onboarding, and client service. Preferred qualifications include previous internship, coursework, or entry-level experience in IT support or cloud services, exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, or other cloud platforms (through work or training), interest in project coordination, onboarding, or client-facing technical roles, and familiarity with ticketing systems, documentation, or basic technical troubleshooting. Qualifications include 1-2 years of professional experience or relevant technical education (e.g., IT helpdesk, service desk, or cloud support), basic understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows workstations, and cloud environments, strong communication skills with a client-centric and proactive mindset, ability to multitask and prioritize while managing cross-functional tasks and responsibilities, comfortable working in a hybrid setting and occasionally visiting client sites as needed, and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
