Duties And Responsibilities

• Completes tasks in the support of new product development projects
  
  

following established processes and quality standards.

• Duties include material research, product/prototype development,
  
  

testing, analysis and documentation.

• Maintain a safety-first attitude in performing all the tasks
• Responsible for the day to day development work in making samples
  
  

and testing

• Responsible for the timely completion of a project and assigned tasks
• Analyze data and provide insights and recommendation based on that
• Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned
• Support production trials and new product scale-up runs
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve our ISO
  
  

protocols

• Demonstrate ability to communicate (verbal and written) at all levels
• Deliver technical reports and data analysis in timely manner
• Demonstrate basic computer skills in excel, power point and project
  
  

management

• Work closely with the purchasing, production and marketing teams to
  
  

fulfill customer’s new and existing product needs.

Other

• Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
• Must be able to work extended hours when required
• All other duties as assigned
  
  

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)

• Four years of engineering degree (BS) preferably accompanied with advanced
  
  

degree (MS) in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science & Engineering,

Materials Science, Textile Science, Paper Science or related field

• At least two years of work experience in polymeric materials, nonwovens or
  
  

textile field or a PhD in relevant discipline

• Experience with Lean six sigma and working knowledge of statistics is
  
  

Required

• Hands-on lab laboratory experience with material characterization and testing
  
  

such as DSC, TGA, FTIR, SEM etc. and/or strong knowledge and

understanding of different nonwoven manufacturing technologies is a plus.

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams within the facility as well as through
  
  

out the company

• Ability to organize, manage, and control workflow

• Good written and verbal communication skills
