CASHIER
Duties :
- Provides fast and friendly check out services for customers.
- Assists customers with questions about store
- Scans and / or weighs products during the checkout process
- Handles cash and other forms of payment properly
- Maintains a neat and clean work area
- Restocks register supplies
- Performs go-backs of returned or abandoned merchandise
- Bags groceries when necessary or assists Courtesy Clerk in doing so
- Other duties as assigned
Abilities :
Good customer service skills. Able to read, write and perform basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction).
Physical Requirements : Able to lift 25 lbs, work includes standing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
