All-American Ruidoso Down’s Billy the Kid Casino seeks a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Drop Team Member. In this role, you will work closely with fellow employees to conduct soft counts of the bills and tickets (TITOS) from the casino's machines. This position requires obtaining a Gaming License from the State of New Mexico Gaming Control Board.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct soft counts of bills from casino machines
- Work closely with team members to ensure accurate counts
- Follow all state regulations and security procedures
- Recognize and report any issues with the soft-count machines
- Work in a small room with no windows
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to work on the 1st of every month
- Must be flexible with scheduling and job duties
- Work Friday through Monday during winter (off-season) and Thursday through Monday during racing season
- Must have computer data entry experience (desirable, but not required)
- Verify soft-count data with the database
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk and hear for extended periods
- Occasionally lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds
- Exposed to loud noise, change in temperatures, and second-hand smoke
- Work is generally performed in a casino setting
