Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Substitute must pay a non-refundable fee of approximately $50.00 and have a satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check.
Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Physical/Mental Demands
Withstand demands of working with students and faculty.
Documents must be provided upon application submission:
Two letters of character reference, copy of your high school or college transcripts, and a copy of applicable teaching certification if you are a certified teacher
**Applications will NOT be considered without proper documentation**
**New applicants MUST attend a required substitute training on January 22, 2025 from 9am to 12pm**
**Returning applicants MUST attend a required substitute training on January 22, 2025 from 1pm to 2pm**
**Applicants MUST bring their Drivers License and Social Security Card on training day**
