Restoration Technician
Overview:
Manage all assigned jobs from start to completion while providing the highest level of customer service in accordance with All Dry’s culture/philosophy.
At All Dry, we believe that success starts with customer service. We are looking for a high-energy Restoration Technician with a positive attitude to engage with our customers in need of water restoration and/or mold remediation services. Our expectation is for the Restoration Technician to grow into a Lead Technician role over time as the business grows and we place additional Technicians/crews under your supervision. Your duties starting out in the Restoration Technician role would be centered around:
- Working alongside an existing Restoration Technician to learn our process in a hands-on manner (Training provided)
- Going over job scope with the homeowner/commercial property owner and explaining what we will be doing and the reasons why. (Training provided)
- Providing an estimated schedule/duration for the scope of work. (Training provided)
- Documenting the job, including the tasks required to estimate quantities, monitoring progress, and completely tracking all activities within our current Customer Relationship Management and estimating software. (Training provided)
- Performing simple math skills daily for job documentation, such as square foot calculations, linear foot calculations, etc. (Training provided)
Detailed Responsibilities:
Below is a list of activities that our Restoration Technician will perform on a daily/weekly basis:
- Clock in / Clock out
- Pre-job truck prep
- Support water restoration or mold remediation efforts, depending on the specific job scope
- Clean equipment after each use
- Support an existing Restoration Technician in keeping a clean/organized truck
- Keep uniform clean
- Ensure all job paperwork is completed on time
- Maintain cordial, professional relationships with all customers and vendors
- Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the General Manager
Training & Equipment:
- All training and drying/de-humidifying equipment expenses to be covered by All Dry Services of Southern Maine
Base Requirements:
- Current/active driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Required to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift/pick up/push/pull equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds
- High school education or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience in cleaning, construction, water damage clean-up or mold remediation (preferred)
- Background check performed on applicants prior to hiring decisions
Compensation and Benefits:
Job/Pay type: Full-time, Hourly
Hourly rate: $20 - $24
Overtime opportunity: Yes, compensation over 40 weekly hours paid at 1.5 times hourly rate.
Retirement Plan: 401k plan with 100% company match on first 3% contributed, vesting over 3 years
Health insurance: $200 monthly stipend
PTO: 10 days (80 hours) of paid time off days per year in accordance with our company policy
Holidays: 6 Floating Paid Holiday days
Estimated annual base compensation: $42,000 - $50,000
Additional Bonus: Annual incentive bonus based on key performance metrics, customer satisfaction surveys, and company performance
