Espresso & Coffee Equipment Technician

We are looking for an Espresso & Coffee Equipment Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various type of equipment to support our commercial and residential customers. Our customers include manufactures, coffee roasters and food distributors to name a few.

Duties and Responsibilities Include But not Limited To:

• Installing coffee / espresso equipment
• Troubleshooting and repair of coffee/espresso equipment
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Basic equipment training for owner/operators
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose equipment problems
• Work as part of an on-call rotation which may include evening, weekend and some holidays work
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles
• Maintain proper inventory of spare parts for repairs and preventative maintenance
• Some out of town service may be require at some occasions
• Some out of town training may be required on occasions

Qualifications:

• 3 years of espresso and coffee equipment
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required.
• Previous field service experience
• Previous barista experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Strong (Did I say Strong, I meant Incredible) customer service skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to follow direction
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable calling manufacturers to problem-solve on the fly
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a must
• Valid passport
• Skilled with the use of multi-meter and hand tools
• A desire to be part of a growing company.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 75 lbs on occasions
• Bilingual A
