ADMINISTRATOR
RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITIES FOR THE ELDERLY (RCFE) SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
- The Administrator reports to California Department of Social Services.
- He/she manages every aspect of the daily operations of the assisted living residential home for the elderly and provide excellent residential services.
EXEMPLARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Administrator oversees the daily operations including the food service, managing the residents’ daily needs, medical visits and supervise staff.
- Administering the facility in accordance with CA Department of Social Services regulations and facility's policy, program and budget.
- Reporting to the licensee on the operation of the facility, and provide the licensee with necessary interpretations of recognized standards of care and supervision.
- Developing an administrative plan and procedures to ensure clear definition of lines of responsibility, equitable workloads, and adequate supervision.
- Create, submit and monitor Special Incident Reports, ensuring all required parties are notified with the mandated time frame.
- Completing admission and discharges
- Discussing with licensee the recruitment, employment and training qualified staff, and terminating employment of staff who perform in an unsatisfactory manner.
- Providing or ensuring the provision of services to the residents with appropriate regard for the residents' physical and mental well-being and needs, including those services identified in the residents' Pre-Admission Appraisals, Pre-admission Appraisal, and Reappraisal.
- The Administrator assures compliance with policy and procedure.
- Maintain confidential information such as HIPPA.
- Able to respond in emergency and urgent situations within reasonable time.
- Able to handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time position
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
