The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, previous experience in mail and shipping with UPS, Fedex, USPS preferred, and a passion for leading a team to achieve success.
Duties
- Assist in managing store operations and staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Supervise daily activities of store employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Handle cash management duties, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for new team members.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment.
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role within a retail environment.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to motivate others to achieve sales targets.
- Proficient in cash handling and math skills necessary for managing transactions.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash register operations.
