About the Job
As a Member Service Representative, you will be the main point of contact for our members and will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our members by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for members through various channels including phone, email, and chat.
- Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate responses to member inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Identify and assess members' needs to offer appropriate solutions and product recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex member issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate and updated member records in our database.
- Provide guidance and support to members on navigating our website, placing orders, and understanding benefits and coverage.
- Proactively reach out to members to promote new products and services.
- Collect and report member feedback to improve our products and services.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with customer service software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
