What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaper/Laborer position at All Seasons Landscaping?
This job consists of the following jobs done:
- Laying Down turf
- Lifting Wheelbarrows of dirt, rock, sod, and more
- Going on the roof and placing Christmas lights
- Placing new grass, placing mulch, and more
Responsibilities:
- Perform various landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscape features such as plants, trees, and shrubs
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Assist in the construction of hardscape elements such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Perform general groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and presentable
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Experience in building hardscape features using materials like bricks, stones, or pavers
- Knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization and weed control
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Note: Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
