Medical Assistant Instructor - All-State Career School - West, Mifflin, PA
All-State Career School in West Mifflin, PA is an industry-leading trade and technical school. For over 25 years, we have trained men and women for rewarding careers in transportation, skilled trades and allied health.
We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working within a physician’s office or laboratory to join our faculty for our day sessions, which run Monday - Friday.
Requirements:
· 2 years clinical experience working within a physician’s office. Skillset includes; phlebotomy, vital signs, ECG, urinalysis, wound care, EMR/EHR, light billing and coding, filing, pharmacology, medical asepsis, patient care, and customer service skills.
· Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology
· Knowledge of Medical Terminology
· An ability to learn new methodologies and systems
· Excellent communication skills
· Teaching experience a plus
Responsibilities:
· Classroom instruction
· Maintain positive student retention
· Participate in instructor training
· Classroom, laboratory and test preparation
