Key responsibilities include:
- Meal Prepping: Assisting with meal planning, basic cooking, and preparation skills to encourage independence in the kitchen.
- Studying for Driver’s License: Providing study support for driver’s license preparation, including reviewing materials and practicing test-taking strategies.
- Safety Awareness: Teaching essential safety skills for home, travel, and community settings.
- Social Skills: Supporting the development of effective social and communication skills in various settings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Life Skills Instructor or caregiver for individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Strong communication, patience, and a commitment to fostering growth and independence.
