About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multisite Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of 2–4 Primary Care and Immediate Care clinics in Central Maryland area. In this role, you will:
- Oversee clinical and administrative staff (Front Desk and Medical Assistants).
- Ensure operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and high-quality care.
- Partner with the Regional Practice Manager and Regional Medical Director to align day-to-day operations with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across multiple clinics.
- Improve workflows to maximize patient flow and reduce wait times.
- Implement and monitor compliance with SOPs across all sites.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise clinical and administrative staff.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
- Conduct staff meetings, huddles, and performance reviews to drive engagement and retention.
- Serve as the main contact for vendors, IT, and site-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards through audits.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and corrective actions when needed.
- Act as the point of escalation for patient complaints and billing concerns.
- Apply conflict-resolution and de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe, respectful environment.
- Train staff on customer service and patient communication best practices.
- 2 years of healthcare management experience (multi-site Primary Care or Urgent Care strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to recruit, lead, and develop teams.
- Experience handling patient escalations in high-volume settings.
- Working knowledge of EHR systems (Athena, eClinicalWorks, Epic, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
- Driver’s license and ability to travel within a 25-mile radius.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Previous clinical experience (CNA, MA, LPN, or RN).
- Master’s degree in Health Administration or related field.
- Proficiency with data analysis and KPI monitoring tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Calm and professional under pressure, with strong conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead and grow high-performing teams.
- Drive improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.
