Job Responsibilities for Parts Counter Sales Representative:

• · Handle parts order requests via telephone, e-mail, or in-person
• · Utilize manufacturer and vendor catalogs to locate parts for customers, internal and external
• · Advise customers on related parts
• · Follow up on backordered parts, and contact customer with status
• · Ensure that inventory control practices are followed
• · Communicate with Parts Manager on inventory issues
• · Communicate with Service Department regarding parts availability and pricing
• · Provide solutions for the needs of our customers

Required Skills for Parts Counter Sales Representative:

• · High school diploma or GED
• · Two (2) years of heavy truck parts or shop experience
• · Mechanical aptitude, desired
• · Customer service skills
• · Good written and verbal communication skills
